BREAKING SCIENCE INTO SPORTS

The First Global Fund Exclusively Focused On Sports Science

We FOCUS ON THE SCIENCE OF HUMAN PERFORMANCE

For existing sports investors this is an adjacent bet; we do it exclusively.

The annual market size in global sports is ~$3T USD. The global investment spend in sports is more than $280B USD. The vast majority of that capital goes to teams, leagues, stadiums, and media — less than 3% goes toward the science of optimization, recovery, and performance longevity = human healthspan.

Angela Ruggiero and Sans Thakur, backed by TOWER Capital Group, are changing that.

We bring scientific rigor to the biology of competitiveness, and beyond with a generational lens. In partnership with athletes, whose lived experience helps shape our investment strategy, with the opportunity to be owners.

The generational sports science fund closes the gap.

SCIENCE & SPORT INVESTING: VELOCITY
A Thesis of Differentiated Returns through Athlete & Scientific Strategy

Trillions flow into sport annually; almost none funds the science that drives human performance. Between $80-120 billion USD, in 2025, was invested annually by top private allocators in the US into the sports ecosystem, but only 3% funds the science that drives human performance.

Yet, life sciences has consistently outperformed traditional sports investing. Directing capital into life-sciences-grade assets within the sports category captures that premium while benefiting from the sport's market growth trajectory.

Our arbitrage opportunity: a return profile the market has not yet priced, absent a vehicle and proven expertise built to capture it. Execution is grounded in existing infrastructure within our team: 1,000+ vetted innovations, $28B+ in networked assets, 175+ years of combined experience, and 40+ medicines launched to date — paired with unmatched athlete access and trust.

Expected outcome: life-sciences-grade IRR at sports-sector speed.

Life sciences beats sports investing — on cash, not just paper. Historically, life sciences funds return 1.14x DPI to LPs vs. 1.02x for the broader VC market, and 11.5% of biopharma deals hit a >5x return. Our own analogs show 5.1x–6.8x across verticals.

Pair that return profile with the growth and innovation cycle of sport, and you get the fund's premium.

BREAKING SCIENCE INTO SPORT

We invest in technology and human-performance companies that can be stress-tested by the most discerning customers — elite athletes — and scaled to benefit generational health for the rest of the population.

The combined addressable market sitting at the intersection of sports with cutting edge science: digital health and AI ($900B–$1.2T), brain and family health ($880B), AI compute infrastructure ($300B–$600B), genomics ($55B–$60B), and longevity science ($30B–$50B) — and it's all layered on top of a population in need: 1.7 billion people worldwide living with musculoskeletal conditions.

ANGELA RUGGIERO

Angela Ruggiero has spent her career fighting for athletes to have a
seat at the table — and now she's building the table herself. A
four-time Olympian and Olympic Gold Medalist, Angela was previously
the Chair of the IOC Athletes' Commission, representing the voice of
over 10,000 Olympic and Paralympic athletes worldwide. She currently
serves as an athlete representative to the International Ice Hockey
Federation and previously served as President of the Women's Sports
Foundation, advocating for equity and opportunity in women's sport for
over a decade. Named to Forbes's '25 Most Powerful Women in Sport,'
Angela co-founded and exited Sports Innovation Lab, a global leader in
fan data, and leads the Women's Sports Club. She sat on the IOC and
USOPC Executive Boards for eight years, previously served as Chief
Strategy Officer for the 2028 LA Olympics, World Anti-Doping Agency,
Executive Board, and today sits on the Advisory Board of the Boston
Athletic Association and the Executive Boards of World Rugby. She has
advised sport PE leader Arctos Partners and the Green Bay Packers
Titletown Tech VC fund. She was the 4th woman inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame. Angela holds a BA and MBA from Harvard and a PE
certificate from Wharton — but says her real credential is a career
spent representing athletes, on and off the ice.

SANS THAKUR

Sans Thakur: A global pioneer of Generational Health. Began her work to rethink Generational Science in 1997 on the human genome project.+25 years in health-science and technology. Ran one of the first CVC funds in digital health. Supported $9B in pharma strategy at Boehringer Ingelheim. Directed multi-billion-dollar portfolios. 100+ clinical trials. Lead Growth of double unicorn. Led Accenture's global life sciences practice across 24 markets. Author of New Science. Modeled $1.3T in scientific assets. Led the life-science COVID-19 response, assessing 50,000+ innovations. World Economic Forum Healthcare and Longevity Council leader. UN Population Fund strategic partner.

Angela brings operator grit with athlete trust, network, and lived understanding of elite performance. Sans brings innovator and capital discipline, scientific infrastructure, and a Generational Health record. — together they move at the speed of real athlete relationships while investing with rigor.

FOR YOU: IT'S structural not symbolic
You didn't get to the top of your game by accident. You tracked everything, tested everything, and pushed your body further than almost anyone else will. That's exactly the kind of insight this fund is built on. We're investing in the technologies that were proven on athletes like you first — recovery science, brain health, injury prevention, longevity — before they ever reach the general public. This isn't about being a spokesperson. It's about having real influence over which companies get built, which science gets funded, and who benefits from it first.

The Voting Board:

The Voting Board is made up of up to five athletes who sit directly on our investment committee. This isn't an honorary seat — Voting Board members review real deals alongside our investment team, vote on which companies we invest in, and bring lived experience to decisions that are usually made by people who have never competed at an elite level. Board members meet quarterly to review the pipeline and weigh in before capital is deployed.

The Advisor Team:

The Advisor Team is a group of up to ten athletes, coaches, and sports-science leaders who work more informally with our portfolio companies. Advisors meet twice a year for a broader strategy check-in, with the option to join monthly sessions where they hear directly from founders building in this space — a chance to stay close to the technology before it hits the market.

The Athlete Limited Partner:

For athletes who want full ownership in the fund itself, the Athlete LP track offers complete Limited Partner rights — the same economics, reporting, and access as any other investor in the fund — with a $250,000 minimum commitment.

DEMAND, DESIGN & ELITE EXECUTION

Explosive, Investable Demand: Elite athletes are willing, motivated, biologically extreme test cases for performance science. Women's sport is growing more than 300% — and amplified by life sciences/tech-- the fastest-growing intersection. Where demand for longevity and biotech is no longer observable, it's investable.

Lean & Scalable by Design: A tiered athlete-engagement model — scales trust and access without diluting fund discipline. Athletes invest and vote or advise. Honoring athletes lived experience and ability to be owners and actors in the business.

Execution: Angela Ruggiero won Olympic gold, was inducted into the Hockey Hall of Fame, sat on the IOC's Executive Board, and formerly Chief Strategy Officer for the 2028 LA Olympics. Sans Thakur architected a $1.3 trillion scientific-asset model, executed in multiple unicorns, and has spent 25 years growing health-science and technology. Together, that's a combination of athlete credibility and capital discipline the market has never seen paired at this level.
